Genesis 35:1-3,4-7, 25:20-28, 28:10-22, 31:11-13, 32:24-32, 34:1-30
– Just because your daddy and your grandfather knows God, does not mean you know God. You have to know God for yourself.
– God is with us and we don’t even know it.
– Jacob renamed the place Bethel, the house of God when He realized God was with Him.
– There will always come a time when God is going to come to you and release you from the place where you are.
– Jacob was forever changed when He held on to God.
– God is calling us to go back to the place where we first met Him.
– We need to remember that God answered us in the time of our distress.
– God puts limits on our enemies and what they are able to do to us.
– We need to not only know the house of God, we need to know the God of the house.
– We don’t mind hearing from the preacher, but we don’t want to hear from God Himself.
