Matthew 14:22-29, 21:19-22; John 14:12,15-17,20; Romans 4:17; 2 Corinthians 4:13; Ephesians 5:2; 1 John 2:6
-The power to change our lives resides on the inside of us.
– In spite of how Peter is talked about, Peter had faith.
– Peter was telling Jesus if You walk on the water, I want to walk on water too.
– Peter imitated Jesus.
– If we are going to imitate Jesus, we have to take the time to observe Him.
– God did not speak what He saw, He spoke what He wanted. Jesus was able to send the enemy away because He spoke it.
– Faith speaks. The spirit of faith says something.
– Our power can be diminished if we don’t do as God does.
– The more humble a person is, the more powerful they are and become.
– Jesus encourages us to watch how He does it, then go and do likewise.
– God did not say good enough, He said good. We have to be like Him on all points.
– We cannot pick and choose how we want to be like God.
– The minute we stop acting like Jesus, we can no longer do what Jesus can do.
