4/29 To the Glory of God (1 Samuel 4:21) “No Ichabods Here” Eli allowed his sons to do anything they wanted in the house of the Lord and because of that the glory of God was no longer with him or his household. The wife of one of Eli’s sons, Phinehas, named her child Ichabod, because the glory of the Lord had departed. Pastor Jeff and Sis. E share that God’s goodness, His glory should always be seen and if it isn’t, you just might find yourself in an Ichabod situation or around someone “named” Ichabod.
