What Shall I Render to the Lord?
1 Samuel 15:13-23; John 2:1-5, Ezekiel 22:30; John 2:11; Micah 6:6 -8; Hosea 6:6; Psalm 51:16-17
– If God puts us to the test, we cannot take the test and grade the test, too.
– We have to stop grading our own tests.
– With authority, comes responsibility. We cannot embrace authority without being responsible.
– We want to do for God but what is it that God wants us to do for Him.
– God does not need us to build tents, He needs us to listen.
– God does not need us to do great things, He needs us to “hear ye Him.”
– We have to ask ourselves, why are we doing the things we do?
– Asking God what to do is not a bad question, but it has to come from a good place.
– We cannot decide what we are going to do, we have to ask God.
– We want to do great, but we don’t want to do little.
– It’s not about doing a great thing for God. It’s about doing a thing for a great God.
– All God needs us to do is do what is right, be merciful unto others, and do what He says.
– God would prefer people to know Him rather than sacrifice unto Him.
