John 1:6-12; Proverbs 15:15 AMP; Acts 3:1-8; Lamentations 3:25; Isaiah 30:18
– Delay has a powerful way of stripping us of expectation, anticipation, HOPE.
– Delay is not denial.
– If we stop expecting God to show up, He will come and we won’t receive Him.
– Those who don’t expect, won’t receive.
– It’s hard to recognize something that you’re not looking for.
– When we stop looking, clues, opportunities and people could pass us and we won’t recognize them.
– Those who receive are those who expect.
– We should not expect bad things.
– We can have a glad heart if we continue to believe God.
– The lame man asked, but looked at them and expected to receive from them.
– We ask God for something, God sees us, we should expect it.
– If we ask God for something and expect it, He will do more.  God shows up in a better way than we expect.
– The Lord is good to those who are waiting for him.
– God wants to be good to us.  He’s expecting, looking and longing to show us His goodness.
– God is good and something good is going to happen in my life today.
