    - Peter wanted to be just like Jesus. He wanted to walk on the water too.
    - As long as we keep our eyes on ourselves, we are going to see failure. When we look at Jesus,
    we see victory.
    - To be conformed is to be in agreement and in alignment with Jesus on every point. Then we will be just like Him.
    The more we look at Jesus, the more we will look like Him.
    - If we remain diligent and faithful to our post, we will receive the double portion.
    - Because we know who we are, we know our position, we know who to look for.
    - We need to aspire to be like the God of the one we admire.
    - We need to raise our sights. We have what Jesus has, as joint heirs.
    - When we know where we are, our focus is different.

    What Shall I Render to the Lord?
    1 Samuel 15:13-23; John 2:1-5, Ezekiel 22:30; John 2:11; Micah 6:6 -8; Hosea 6:6; Psalm 51:16-17
    - If God puts us to the test, we cannot take the test and grade the test, too.
    - We have to stop grading our own tests.
    - With authority, comes responsibility. We cannot embrace authority without being responsible.
    - We want to do for God but what is it that God wants us to do for Him.
    - God does not need us to build tents, He needs us to listen.
    - God does not need us to do great things, He needs us to "hear ye Him."
    - We have to ask ourselves, why are we doing the things we do?
    - Asking God what to do is not a bad question, but it has to come from a good place.
    - We cannot decide what we are going to do, we have to ask God.
    - We want to do great, but we don't want to do little.
    - It's not about doing a great thing for God. It's about doing a thing for a great God.
    - All God needs us to do is do what is right, be merciful unto others, and do what He says.
    - God would prefer people to know Him rather than sacrifice unto Him.

    - Once you know you are carrying a baby, you are a mother.
    - God told Mary Elizabeth's story to help you believe your own story.
    - God will share another women's story with you to help you in your story.
    - Of all the women in the world, God chose you to be the mother of yours. They are blessed to have you, you are blessed to have them.
    - When Mary stretched out her hands and said be it unto me, she allowed God to live on the inside of her.
    - Because she allowed God to live in her, she had the power of God to speak into Elizabeth.
    - Mothers carry things. Deep things. God can speak to the deep things.
    - It wasn't what Mary said to Elizabeth, it was the sound of Mary's greeting.
    - It was the sound of the Word. God's voice is like the rushing of many waters.
    - God's voice sounds a certain way.
    - We have not wrestled with God if we are walking the same way.
    - It's in the believing that the blessing comes.
    - Many mothers, same God.

    - Because of what Jesus did, God has poured everything into this name.
    - In Jesus name should not simply mean the end of our prayer.
    - When we use the name of Jesus it needs to mean all who Jesus is.
    - If we get a better understanding of what is in the name of Jesus, we will more decree things rather than ask.
    - In Jesus name, is peace, contentment healing, deliverance. When we ask in His name, we are asking for what we are due.
    - The asking is based on the person, character and will of Jesus.
    - All of the great names of God are in the name of Jesus.
    - Coming in Jesus name, is not coming in anger, nor in unforgiveness.
    - Peter understood that Jesus name wasn't just a tagline. He understood he had something.
    - It's not just the name, it's faith in the name.
    - Jesus left the earth and left us in authority, as His servants.
    - It's the name, and faith in the name that gets it done.
    - God does not want our mental ascent, He wants us to walk it out.
    - We have to get to a place where we become strong in the faith.

    - When we take offense it causes a separation between us and God.
    - When we are angry it gives the devil a place that he would not have.
    - Offense gives the devil access to our heart.
    - Sneaky blessing, whenever we want to we can do the poor good.
    - Judas was the ringleader. He was the one Jesus had rebuked.
    - When Judas got mad, satan entered into his heart.
    - Allowing yourself to become offended, disconnects your heart from Jesus.
    - It's the person that can overlook an offense that is godly.
    - Overlooking an offense makes you look good in the sight of God.
    - If we hear too closely we may hear what we don't need to hear.
    - Offended people not only don't walk with Jesus, they betray Him.
    - When we get offended by what someone said or did, bitterness can take root.
    - We have to be at peace with each other
    - Guard your heart from taking offense.
    - when we get offended we don't value
    Jesus, His teachings.

    - We all have a sin problem and the wages of sin is death.
    - When Jesus rose from the grave, He solved our problem.
    - We are freed from the penalty of our sins though Jesus Christ.
    - Sin has no power over us.
    - Now that He lives, we live for the glory of God.
    - The glory of God is God's goodness in our life.
    - When we live for the glory of God, we become vessels so that the beauty of His spirit can be revealed in the earth.
    - Wherever we are, we are in the land of the living, as we believe in Jesus.
    - Doing what we want to do is doing what is consistent with God's person and character.
    - We've been made free now we need to go and be free.
    - You have to upload the download that God gives you. Walk it out.

    - Sometimes we can be so spiritual, that we don't make sense.
    - God doesn't like laziness.
    - We have to do what is right even when no one is watching.
    - We need to be doing something, especially now.
    - A lot who were called in the Bible were doing natural things.
    - David was tending sheep when God called him.
    - God is preparing us in the midst.

    - David had confidence because of his hope in God.
    - David is talking about believing to see.
    - Believing can help us to receive.
    - The enemy wants to deceive us from believing.  Believing is power.
    - A person who believes can't be moved.
    - Believing comes first.
    - We have to believe in the face of the trouble - whatever it is.
    - Believing comes in advance. Knowing comes afterwards.
    - If you can see the goodness of God in the land of the living, we will outlive our challenges.
    - It's the strength of our belief that we overcome.
    - David said, "I had fainted" what do you say?  
    - There's different ways of waiting. Don't just wait on God, wait in faith.
    - If we wait in expectation, God will strengthen our heart.
    - Stand waiting. Believing to see the goodness of the Lord.
    - No matter what we are going through, there is somebody worse off than you. Remember that as ambassadors of Chust.
    - We can be the example of God's goodness in the land of the living that someone needs to see.

    - This disease can cause us dis-ease.  Stay focused. Don't let it.
    - Don't saturate yourself with the news.
    - Don't be distracted by what is going on.
    - In addition to the distraction, we also have idleness.
    - Peter was overcoming storms because he kept his eyes on Jesus.
    - Distractions, uncertainty and idleness will take our focus off of God.
    - We have no power against the virus.
    - When we don't have power, when we don't know what to do - we have to stay focused on God.
    - We have to be still and know God. We cannot know God if our hearts and minds are racing 1000 miles an hour.
    - The people of God got the victory because they kept their focus.
     
    How to keep our focus
    1- Keep looking to God. (Psalm 121:-2, 123:1-2, 25:15)
    - Avoid looking at things that won't help you. (Psalm 101:3,119:37)
    - Faith will get us through this.
    - Faith will allow us to hold on until God's mercy steps in. (Hebrews 3:1)
    2 - Guard your heart. (John 14:1, Proverbs 4:23, Psalm 112:1, 4-8)
    - When we guard our heart, and our heart is fixed on God, even bad news doesn't move us.
    3- Remember God loves you. (Psalm 91:14-16)
    - God makes a promise to those who love Him.
    - Because you focus on Him, remain focused on Him, He will deliver you.
